An award winning provider of adult careers advice and established training company, Best Training offers a wide range of courses, including Computing, Maths and English, Fork Lift Training, Food Hygiene, Business and Employability. Centre Manager, Georgina Ralph, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer a wide variety of training options to people living in Wimborne and the surrounding area with learning opportunities on their doorstep."

"We are pleased to introduce a new member of staff, Clive Hale, who joined us at the end of January. Clive is available for 1 to 1 Information, Advice and Guidance sessions to help people identify their training needs."

Clive has worked in further education for seven years and has extensive experience in supporting learners from the initial advice session through to the completion of their courses. Clive holds both teaching and Skills for Life qualifications and has worked in learndirect for three years

One day, Level 1 computer workshops

These are ideal for beginners and are run on Wednesdays from 9.30am to 2.30pm. Subjects include Internet & Email, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, PowerPoint Presentation, Databases and Desk Top Publishing. Prices are available on request and workshops are free to anyone on specific means-tested benefits.

In addition to the existing courses in Computing, Maths, English, Fork Lift Training, Basic Food Hygiene and Business, we are now pleased to be able to offer the Construction Skills Health & Safety Test (CSCS) Card FREE subject to eligibility/ terms and conditions.

Best Training continues to offer its award winning Information, Advice and Guidance service assisting those requiring careers information whether unemployed, and/ or returning to work or simply considering a career change.
For those searching for employment, the Employability Skills course provides valuable assistance with necessary skills such as creating a CV, interview techniques and job searching.
For those already employed or perhaps thinking of starting their own business, learndirect offer a range of business and management courses covering a wide variety of subjects.
