EDHT Course Guidelines

Progression
Progress to the next level of learning is generally possible at Allendale House. In addition, information, advice and guidance are available about progression routes at the Trust's partner organisations.

Open to ideas
Over 800 courses are on offer at Allendale House, but please let us know if you believe that there is sufficient demand for some other form of learning.Perhaps you currently have to travel to London or another city to find the training you need. We may be able to bring a trainer to Wimborne if there is enough interest.

Admission
Applications must be made on an official enrolment form. East Dorset Heritage Trust (EDHT) and its partners reserve the right to determine a learner's suitability for a proposed course. EDHT and its partners also reserve the right to insist upon any learner discontinuing attendance.

Changes to course arrangements
EDHT and its partners may change the syllabus, the day and time of any course or cancel a course if:

o the tutor is unable to continue teaching and no suitably qualified replacement is available
o the venue has to be changed and no suitable alternative is available
o funding provided by a partner organisation is withdrawn.

Courses with low enrolment
If enrolments do not reach the minimum number required, then a tutor-led course will not usually run.

Withdrawal from courses
Refund policy is determined by each partner organisation. Places on courses are not transferable to any other person.

Damage to property and equipment
Anyone damaging property or equipment at Allendale House must pay the cost of repair or replacement to East Dorset Heritage Trust or its partner(s), as appropriate.

Personal property
All property brought to Allendale House, left in the premises or within the grounds, is done so at the owner's risk. Neither East Dorset Heritage Trust nor its partners accept any responsibility for its safekeeping.
