Dorset Architectural Heritage Week is an annual event which aims to stimulate public awareness of Dorset's rich architectural and cultural heritage by allowing free access to many properties that are normally closed to the public or charge for entry. The first half of the week is part of the national Heritage Open Days but Dorset contains such a wealth of fascinating architecture that the events continue in the County for a further four days!
Dorset Architectural Heritage Week 2015 will be Wednesday 9th - Thursday 17th September 2015

January 2015 Update
Following John's retirement the Dorset Conservation Officer's Group have decided to take a step back from organising Heritage Week and, from this year onwards, DAHW will become an East Dorset Heritage Trust event. This will allow the DCOG group to focus on the day to day conservation of the County's architecture while EDHT can focus on the organisation of Heritage Week. There will be no change to the events or the way they are organised and presented and we look forward to elcoming you all to Heritage Week 2015 later in the year!
